And for more than 20 years, I've been a commercial real estate appraiser.
Most of that time, I worked for others. Then finally after many years, I walked away from my last employer. There was nothing to hold me back. Although I was paid well, there was no retirement account … no stock options … no insurance benefits … no 401K … no paid vacations or days off. No benefits at all!
My wife had to work for all our benefits.
After contemplating career options, I agreed to open up shop with three great partners.
